Job summary

Arizona Country Club is seeking a Racquet Services Attendant to deliver hospitality and member services within a private club setting. You will greet members, assist with registrations and court reservations, and support retail and events to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Proficiency with CourtReserve or Jonas is a plus; flexible scheduling including mornings/evenings/weekends may be required as events occur.

Qualifications

• Genuinely enjoys interacting with people and delivers exceptional member service.
• Friendly, polished and comfortable in a private-club environment.
• Clear communication and ability to follow through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Willing to jump in as part of a team; hospitality or retail experience preferred.
• Tennis and/or Pickleball knowledge is a plus; CourtReserve/Jonas experience beneficial.

Racquet Services is more than a traditional pro shop. It is the hospitality and information hub of the Racquet Sports department and an important part of the daily member experience.

This position is built around Hospitality & Member Experience, Programming Knowledge, Racquet Sports Operations and Retail. Hospitality comes first.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Create a welcoming, engaging experience for members and guests.
• Greet members, answer questions and help connect them with the right programs, professionals and playing opportunities.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of Tennis and Pickleball programming, clinics, leagues, WITL, juniors, lessons, tournaments and events.
• Help members navigate registrations, waitlists, court activity and general Racquet Sports information.
• Become proficient in CourtReserve and Jonas.
• Accurately process member transactions and assist with program registrations and court reservations.
• Help maintain a clean, organized and member-ready Racquet Services area throughout each shift.
• Conduct Racquet Sports facility walkthroughs and help ensure courts and surrounding areas remain ready for member play.
• Support tournaments, leagues, socials and special events as needed.
• Assist with retail operations including merchandise organization, displays, inventory, receiving and restocking.
• Communicate member questions, facility needs and operational issues to the Racquet Services Coordinator and Racquet Sports professional staff
• Notice what needs attention and take initiative to help solve it.

• Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Works well as part of a team and is willing to jump in wherever needed.
• Private-club , resort, hospitality, retail or member-service experience preferred.
• Tennis and/or Pickleball knowledge or playing experience preferred, but not required .
• CourtReserve , Jonas or comparable club-management/POS experience is a plus.
• Available for a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends and special events.

Tennis and Pickleball knowledge can be learned. A genuine desire to serve members is essential.

Retail is part of the position, but it does not define it. Racquet Services connects our members with the courts, professionals, programming and overall Racquet Sports experience.

The Racquet Services Attendant works alongside the Racquet Services Coordinator and Racquet Sports professional staff to help ensure that experience is welcoming, organized and consistent every day.
