Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a working lead to coordinate the racking department, guiding up to 10 team members to meet production goals while prioritizing safety and quality. The role involves reading orders, coordinating materials, and training staff in the Skill-Based Pay process.

Qualifications include English proficiency, prior galvanizing and leadership experience in manufacturing, plus the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Full-time on-site role with strong teamwork values.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak in English required.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
• Experience using forklifts and cranes required.
• Prior Galvanizing experience highly preferred.
• Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing facility highly preferred.
• Must maintain a positive and motivational attitude at all times.
• Regular and timely attendance is required.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly.
• Plan, organize, pay attention to details and multi-task in fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to shift between multiple activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of 10 employees and manage job orders safely and promptly.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
• Train and assess employees’ competencies in the Skill-Based Pay process.
• Inspect material before galvanizing to meet safety and quality guidelines.
• Ensure galvanized products meet Sabre quality requirements and minimize downtime.
• Count, weigh or measure products against bills of lading or work orders.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes; monitor lifting equipment.
• Move materials using storage or production equipment and attach IDs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area; enforce housekeeping.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.
