Job summary

Channel Partners is hiring a Shelving & Racking Lead to install, move, and replace steel racking and shelving systems. The role requires mechanical aptitude, tool use, and the ability to travel within the local state and nearby states.

Expect variable full-time hours based on project volume and seasonal demand. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally, read diagrams, and work days, nights, and weekends as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with experience in racking installation or similar.
• Ability to use hand and cordless power tools safely.
• Ability to read diagrams such as blueprints and RIGs.
• Ability to operate order pickers, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the local state and surrounding states.
• Willing to work days, nights, and weekends as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Install, move, and replace steel racking/cantilevers.
• Assemble storage shelving, rack shelving, structural shelving, and steel shelving systems.
• Replace damaged racking components.
• Move products from old to new racking.
• Assist with other jobs when not performing racking projects.
• Able to read diagrams (blueprints, RIGs) and ensure accuracy.

• This position is Variable Full Time Hours and Projects can range from 0-40 hours per week based on volume

What You'll Do

• Install, move, and replace steel racking/cantilevers.
• Assemble storage shelving, rack shelving, structural shelving, and steel shelving systems.
• Replace damaged racking components.
• Move products from old to new racking.
• Assist with other jobs when not performing racking projects.
• We are looking for candidates that possess the following skills:
• Mechanically inclined/jack-of-all-trades, or experience with racking installation and demo.
• Skilled with hand tools, cordless power tools, and mechanical assembly tools for handling materials and fasteners.
• Able to confirm accuracy and job quality using established mechanical and safety standards.
• Able to (or willing/able to learn to) operate order pickers, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., occasional lifting up 75 lbs.
