Qualifications

  • > High School or GED preferred.
  • > Ability to learn use various measurement and inspection equipment.
  • > Basic understanding of dimensional requirements (Blue print reading) preferred.
  • > Position requires bending, reaching and lifting up 50 lbs.
  • > Ability to work in fast paced and team oriented area.

Responsibilities

  • Loads parts onto racks/fixtures.
  • Unloads parts from racks/fixtures.
  • Performs incoming and outgoing visual inspection of parts to ensure quality of product.
  • Performs coating thickness checks.
  • Prepares parts for shipment – wrapping, bagging, loading trays.
  • Follows all quality control measures and accurately fills out all production records.
  • Handles customer product correctly to avoid damage.
  • Observe all company policies including good housekeeping, safety and security

Requirements

Fixturing of parts for processing through the anodizing line under the direction of the Shift Supervisor. Inspect parts to assure they meet quality expectations.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Loads parts onto racks/fixtures.
  • Unloads parts from racks/fixtures.
  • Performs incoming and outgoing visual inspection of parts to ensure quality of product.
  • Performs coating thickness checks.
  • Prepares parts for shipment – wrapping, bagging, loading trays.
  • Follows all quality control measures and accurately fills out all production records.
  • Follows specific company procedures and work instructions.
  • Handles customer product correctly to avoid damage.
  • Observe all company policies including good housekeeping, safety and security
Relationships and Roles:
  • Maintains efficient flow of product.
  • Will receive cross-training in order to diversify workload and to provide flexible support to other areas of the process when needed.
  • Maintains positive relationships with other departments.
  • Maintains open communication with other departments.
Job Specifications:
  • High School or GED preferred
  • Ability to receive and follow-through with provided instruction.
  • Ability to work in fast paced and team oriented area.
  • Good eye, hand and finger dexterity and coordination.
  • Ability to learn use various measurement and inspection equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow processes and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of dimensional requirements (Blue print reading) preferred.
  • Position requires bending, reaching and lifting up 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work with dust, oils and/or solvents.
