Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Rack Build Technician (Liquid Cooling) to assemble and test high-density data center rack solutions for AI/HPC environments. You will install servers and network gear, integrate liquid-cooling systems, conduct testing, and ensure documentation and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include mechanical assembly, cable management, and validating cooling components while supporting FAT and deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• OSHA-10, ESD, or liquid-cooling OEM certs preferred.
• 2+ years in data center operations, rack integration, or related tech env.

Responsibilities

• Assemble data center racks per drawings and build docs.
• Install servers, storage, network gear, and rack infra.
• Mount and secure equipment per quality standards.
• Connect liquid-cooling components (CDUs, manifolds, hoses).
• Support coolant filling, air removal, leak tests, flow checks.
• Perform rack-level testing and FAT readiness.
• Document results and corrective actions throughout build.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
