Job summary

Hendrick Motorsports in Charlotte, NC is seeking a motivated engineering student to join the Vehicle Engineering Group for a 5–12 month internship. You will gain hands-on experience with vehicle dynamics, subsystems, simulation and data analysis, while supporting lab and test activities and race-day tooling.

Preferred candidates are pursuing an Engineering Bachelor's and have a basic background in statistics, data handling, and rapid prototyping of solutions.

Qualifications

• Working towards an Engineering Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school).
• GPA minimum 2.8 and authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lab Testing with instrument setup, data collection and calibration.
• Support ride rate rig testing and test session preparation.
• Contribute to data acquisition and build data sheets.
• Provide race team support and prepare post-event reports.
