Qualifications

• Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain KHRC License.
• 1+ year of experience as a Racing Valet, or similar role at a horse race track.

Responsibilities

• Assist with horse tack, saddling, and equipment cleaning; maintain jockey wardrobe and proper uniform.
• Assist trainers in saddling prior to each race.
• Monitor racing equipment.
• Inventories and records colors received during the racing season.
• Set up silks on color rack for every race.
