Miami Valley Gaming in Lebanon, OH is seeking a part-time seasonal Mutuel Clerk to join our Racing Team. You will help deliver an exceptional guest experience by handling pari-mutuel tickets, maintaining accurate cash handling, and providing friendly customer service during day or evening shifts.

• Stay informed of promotions and events to relay to patrons.
• Respond to customer requests and report issues to supervisor.

Miami Valley Gaming of Lebanon, OH is looking to hire a part-time seasonal mutuel clerkto help our racino RacingTeam deliver the exceptional guest experience we're known for. Racing Mutuel clerks start at a competitive starting wage of $17.60/hr plus time and a half pay for select holidays and high-volume business days. As a part-time seasonal mutuel clerk, you are a valuable part of our Racing team. You help deliver the guest experience through helping to keep our guests safe and healthy. You are a can-do person who likes to keep busy and doesn't mind jumping in and help with other tasks whenever needed. You're happy that you're not stuck in a cubicle all day!

You are conscientious about adhering to all service, health, safety, and personal hygiene standards. While you're self-motivated and able to work independently, you are a people person and also enjoy the camaraderie that's inherent in a Racing team. You are happy to take advantage of our excellent on the job training. RESPONSIBILITIES OF A MUTUEL CLERK

• Responsible for maintaining a change bank for cashing and selling pari-mutuel tickets.
• Responsible for the selling and cashing of all pari-mutuel tickets for all simulcast signals on any given shift.
• Must complete required paperwork and balance bank at end of shift.
• Promotes positive public relations.
• Stays informed of any promotions or event with accurate information to provide to the patrons if asked.
• Responds to customer requests and complaints by reporting same to the Racing Supervisor or Racing Operations Manager immediately.
• Provides excellent customer service to our Racing guests.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Follows 4 Key Elements of Service Delivery and SERVE expectations at all times.
• Performs duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
• Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

SEASONAL MUTUEL CLERK WORK SCHEDULE

open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with varying shifts consisting of 6-8 hours.
