Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an independent Electrical Systems Engineer to lead pre-design, design and launch of Ford Racing vehicle programs. You will design and develop Ford Racing electrical content and coordinate reviews to ensure system integrity.

You will build DV requirements, support BOM sign-offs, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance vehicle systems while complying with Ford standards.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5+ years automotive electrical systems experience.
• Familiarity with GPDS deliverables and Ford engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Ford Racing electrical content.
• Coordinate design reviews to ensure system integrity.
• Survey engineers for components with electrical interfaces and update VSEM.
• Build DV requirements and validate electrical functions.
• Support BOM sign-offs for pre-production builds.
• Lead development of system designs to meet performance targets.
