Job summary

GroundBreakers is looking for a Racial Equity Associate to support their initiative focused on building antiracist communities. This remote, unpaid, volunteer internship is perfect for candidates passionate about racial equity with skills in research and writing.

As a Racial Equity Associate, you will assist in research, event planning, and collaboration with the Media Team, while engaging community leaders. GroundBreakers promotes a culture of inclusivity and encourages individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to racial equity required.
• Prior experience in interviewing and writing is highly desired.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and analytic skills.
• Candidates must be self-directed and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments with racial equity leaders.
• Conduct research on successful antiracism practices.
• Inform the Racial Equity Guidebook as a resource.
• Support event planning for the Racial Equity Roundtable Series.
• Collaborate with the GroundBreakers Media Team.
