Job summary

Medici Road, a nonprofit consulting practice, seeks a Program Manager to oversee 2–3 concurrent client engagements with a focus on community wealth and racial equity. You will guide scoping, budgeting, and timelines while centering residents in every plan.

You will facilitate workshops, manage stakeholders, and translate input into actionable strategies, collaborating closely with leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a project or program manager with multiple concurrent projects
  • Full lifecycle management: scoping, work planning, budgeting, execution, reporting, closeout
  • Comfort handling 2–3 active engagements simultaneously
  • Experience facilitating meetings/workshops with diverse stakeholders
  • Interest in human-centered design methods
  • Commitment to racial equity in planning, facilitation, and decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication for varied audiences
  • Proficiency with project management tools and standard office software
  • Ability to work independently in a client-facing consulting environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree in related field is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day delivery for 2–3 concurrent client engagements
  • Develop and maintain work plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Establish and track KPIs and benchmarks
  • Flag risks and scope changes early and propose solutions
  • Design and facilitate human-centered design sessions with residents and partners
  • Apply a racial equity lens throughout engagement lifecycle
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative input into findings and action plans
  • Serve as primary contact for client staff and partner organisations
  • Coordinate across multiple partners to align expectations
  • Represent Medici Road at client meetings and community events
  • Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation
  • Contribute to proposals and scoping for new engagements
