Job summary

Juncoshollinger in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Workshop Based Mechanic to support race prep, subassemblies, and gearbox development. You will help prepare, maintain, and organize race cars and components for transport to races, practices, or tests.

You will be involved in pit stop training, engineering projects, and post-race/auxiliary testing, with travel as needed. This role requires Motorsport experience and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Motorsport experience is required.
• Strong understanding of procurement: sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with car maintenance, inspections, and repairs as directed by the Car Chief.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and assist with fabrication as needed.
• Pack and prepare equipment for transport to races and assist at the track.
• Perform pre/post-race teardown and analysis with the team.
• Collaborate with engineers and suspension team to optimize uprights and subassemblies.
• Support testing and ad hoc tasks assigned by the Crew Chief.
