Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.
• 10 years of experience in Sports Marketing/Communications.
• 3 years of experience directly managing a team.
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute global sports marketing strategies.
• Extensive knowledge of the global bike and race industry.
• Excellent written, oral, and public speaking communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management; handle multiple projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional, global teams and budgets.

SRAM is looking for a Race Manager to select and manage SRAM's investments in road, gravel, triathlon, and cyclocross racing. This role leads a global team of race technicians who support professional teams and athletes at the highest level of competitive cycling.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing team of Race Technicians
• Manage technical requirements for pro teams and athletes in collaboration with product stakeholders

• Extensive knowledge of the global bike and race industry
• Exceptional written, oral, and public speaking communication skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams in a cross functional, global workplace
• Experience with budget analysis and planning
• Strong bicycle mechanic skills, including the ability to perform a complete assembly of a race bike
• Proficient with MS Office
• Working Conditions:
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40 percent of the time, including weekends
• Ability to stand at events for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds / 20 kg
• Ability to ride a bike to accomplish objectives
• Compensation and Benefits:
• Starting salary range: $100,000 up to $150,000, based on skills and experience. For candidates based in Schweinfurt, Germany, salary will be commensurate with experience and local market pay standards
• Annual corporate bonus eligibility based on company and individual performance
