Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a Resident Aide for the Twin Towers in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time position features 12-hour shifts (7:00 am–7:15 pm and 7:00 pm–7:15 am) and a compassionate care environment focused on residents in memory care or skilled nursing units.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service or care setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Respond promptly to call lights and requests from residents.
• Support resident independence and dignity in daily routines.
• Maintain up-to-date resident records and participate in shift reports.
• Assist with meals and menu ticketing, and help serve meals.
• Launder personal items and support admissions/transfers as directed.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures; collaborate with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

As a Resident Aide, you will be a critical member of our care team, working in our Memory Care or Skilled Nursing Unit. You’ll provide hands‑on daily support and compassionate care to residents to promote their independence and well-being. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility/ambulation)
• Answering resident call lights promptly and courteously
• Promoting resident dignity, individuality, and rights while encouraging independence
• Participating in shift reports and maintaining up-to-date resident records
• Supporting meal service by managing menu choice tickets and helping serve meals
• Laundering personal items for residents
• Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed
• Following infection control and safety procedures diligently
• Collaborating with nursing staff and contributing to a calm, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in a continuing care retirement community or hospital setting preferred
• Strong background in customer service and interpersonal communication
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
