Your role

Requirements

• Provide interim staffing and resourcing solutions to clients, working on-site or remotely based on client needs.
• Create or maintain records of financial transactions using various accounting systems.
• Handle daily accounting activities including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and financial reporting.
• Verify, allocate, and post business transactions.
• Complete month-end closing procedures.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and analyses.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports such as cash flows, accounts payable/receivable, and profit and loss statements.
• Perform payroll and payroll tax returns.
• Analyze financial data, prepare balance sheets, and other financial reports.
• Verify contracts and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate transactions.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Accounting required; Bachelor's preferred.
• CPA or CMA is a plus but not required.
• 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or staff accountant experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or Creative Solutions.
• Frequent regional travel required.
