Job Summary

Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in core and emerging industries and markets to meet yearly sales goals. This position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle, with operation occurring more than 20% of the work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required, and the company will conduct a review if selected.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all organizational levels to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers to diversify the customer base.
  • Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels within the organization, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, providing input for effective sales strategies.
  • Attend monthly business meetings, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national activities as needed.

Nature and Scope

  • Demonstrate data analysis skills by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies in complex research/data.
  • Work with increasing independence, receiving guidance only on unusual or complex issues. Work is typically reviewed periodically by a supervisor or customers.
  • May provide guidance or training to junior personnel.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor setting with infrequent unpleasant conditions.
  • Primarily sitting with opportunities to move about; occasional lifting of light articles.
  • Overnight travel is less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline with 2-5 years of experience, or an MS/MA with 2-4 years of experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Pay Range

$64,200.00 - $93,200.00 annually
