Responsibilities

As a Product Quality Engineer you will work with onsite PQE, TE, NPI PM and FAE to ensure product quality to be consistent with original design. This will be a hands-on position to support all quality activities for MP products. In this role, you will:

Requirements

• Execute tests according to test plans and generate test reports during EVT/DVT builds.
• SI & PI measurement during NPI phase or issue analysis.
• Try to reproduce customer’s issues and record the results for RD analysis
• Develop automatic test bench for long time stress test
• Develop and maintain test environments to make sure enough test coverage and speed up test going.
• BS or MS in Engineering or related field
• >3 years working experience
• Experience in hardware design or testing experience on power(PoE, Battery, Adapter), sensors(Touch LCM, ALS, Proximity, ToF, IR or mmWave) or wireless(WIFI, BT).
• Familiar with test equipment, e.g. DC/AC power source, Multi-meter, Oscilloscope, DC loader, Power meter, Environment chamber…etc.
• Having knowledge about Signal Integrity of low speed interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI-LP, Ethernet MDI..etc.
• Having knowledge about Power Integrity such as power sequence, ripple, efficiency, accuracy, line regulation, load regulation, dynamic response…etc.
• Familiar with shell script and command line on Linux or Android.
• Good communication skills, Ex. Negotiation with PM/EE/FW engineers

Preferred Qualification

• Having knowledge about the PCB layout for power, high speed signal, analog signal, RF signal.
• Having knowledge about the SI of high speed signal such as ARM/MIPS CPU, DDR memory, USB, MIPI-HS, PCIE, SFI
