Job summary

Belcan Corporation is seeking an R&O Test Engineer to support Aftermarket Engineering and Repair & Overhaul across avionics portfolios. The role involves maintaining automated test equipment, improving troubleshooting, and sustaining long-term product life.

Responsibilities include enhancing test systems, supporting surveillance systems, flight recorders, and EFD displays, and working with ARINC/serial data protocols. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Experience with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and TestStand.
• Familiarity with ARINC and serial data buses.
• Aerospace/aviation maintenance or ATE experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve automated test equipment.
• Support Aftermarket Engineering and Repair & Overhaul operations.

Position Summary

Our Client's Aviation is seeking an R&O Test Engineer to support Aftermarket Engineering and Repair & Overhaul operations across its avionics portfolio, including surveillance systems, flight recorders, and electronic flight displays. The role maintains and improves automated test equipment, strengthens troubleshooting, and supports long-term product sustainment.

Software / Tools

• LabWindows/CVI (highest priority)
• LabVIEW
• TestStand
• National Instruments hardware
• Oscilloscopes and electronic test instruments
• ARINC and serial protocols

Preferred Skills

• LabVIEW, TestStand, and National Instruments hardware experience.
• ARINC and serial communications or comparable aerospace/industrial data-bus protocols.
• Avionics repair, manufacturing ATE, sustaining engineering, FRACAS, reliability, or component-obsolescence experience.
• FAA Part 145 exposure is beneficial but not required; production/factory ATE experience is acceptable.
