Job summary

DuPont Water Solutions is seeking an R&D Technologist to join our ion exchange resin team. You will conduct polymer lab research, support product development, and help deliver technical solutions that improve water efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a BS in a related field and 0–5 years in a lab, strong collaboration, and proficiency with MS Office. Training on our core ion exchange technologies will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical discipline.
• 0–5 years of experience in an academic or industrial laboratory setting.
• Effective time-management, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of cross-functional project teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory research and testing of polymers to support the development of new products and processes.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and other project team members to achieve technical and business goals.
• Analyze experimental data and communicate results, conclusions, and recommendations to project teams, stakeholders, and management.
• Manage laboratory operations and maintain a variety of process and analytical equipment.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety in all aspects of the role, including maintaining safety and procedural documentation.
