Job summary

Pavco Inc., headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a Research and Development Technician to join our team. The role supports R&D efforts on metal coating technologies and works alongside senior engineers to advance new and existing projects.

You will interact with sales, marketing and technical service to ensure product development aligns with customer needs. A strong aptitude in math and sciences, plus wet chemistry experience, is preferred.

Qualifications

• General aptitude in math and sciences required.
• Hands-on wet chemistry experience preferred.
• Experience in chemical industry or electroplating is a plus.
• High school degree required; associate degree preferred.
• Safety training is a plus.
• Willingness to handle hazardous chemicals safely.
• Reliable, multi-tasking, punctual with good written and verbal communication.
• 5+ years of career experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in R&D of metal coating technologies.
• Support senior engineers on new and existing projects.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical service teams.
