Job summary

gtweed seeks an R&D Technician to work with cross-functional teams across the ATG platform, setting up and operating complex analytical equipment and recording results. You will quantify compositions and properties via SEM, EDS, FTIR, XRD, and related techniques, contributing to process improvements and scale-up efforts.

With limited supervision, you will plan experiments, document results, and communicate findings to scientists, engineers and customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in research & testing.
• Experience with basic lab equipment and troubleshooting analytical measurements.
• Willingness to adapt tasks to evolving project needs.

Responsibilities

• Carries out experimental program under guidelines.
• Audits own and colleagues' work to ensure task completion.
• Maintains clear communications within the team and with supervisors.
• Coordinates data, samples and information exchange with other labs.
• Maintains and calibrates lab equipment to ensure accuracy.
