Job summary

Canon Recruiting in Arbor Lakes, MN is seeking an R&D Technician III to join a team that develops and analyzes products, materials, processes, or equipment.

The role is full-time, 8am-4:30pm, with a pay range of $37 per hour. Candidates should have an AA degree or equivalent and 3 years of related experience; CAD proficiency is preferred for documenting prototypes and supporting engineering tasks.

Qualifications

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• CAD and Technical support experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products from concepts.
• Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software to document prototypes and fixtures.
• Explore and propose creative solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
• Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.
• Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
• Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
• Act as a resource to other employees.
• Communicate project status to project teams.
