Philips seeks an R&D Technical Lead for Advanced Software Development in Cambridge, MA. You will steer the AD Software workstream, define architecture, lead algorithm development, and coordinate across software engineering, acoustics, clinical, and management teams to advance ultrasound imaging and navigation features.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing medical imaging, computer vision, image processing, robotics, navigation, or AI algorithms.
• Experience leading cross-functional R&D projects in regulated medical device environments.
• Experience transitioning research concepts into commercial products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Advanced Development Software workstream: strategy, roadmap, architecture, algorithm development, feasibility assessments, PoCs, and cross-functional alignment with Philips Ultrasound.
• Act as Core Team member, ensure technical alignment from research to product, define success criteria, manage risks.
• Mentor engineers, scientists, and algorithm developers; serve as primary escalation point for software issues across distributed teams.
• Lead development, tuning, verification, and validation of advanced computer vision, image processing, and AI-enabled ultrasound algorithms.
