Job summary

BDO USA, LLP's Business Incentives Group internship offers hands-on experience helping clients identify and claim government incentives, like the R&D Tax Credit. Interns collaborate with professionals across tax, accounting, finance, and engineering, developing skills in research, project execution, and client interaction.

The role emphasizes learning to document incentives, support examinations, and contribute to business development while gaining exposure to multiple service lines and client

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, required; focus in Accounting, Finance, CS, Engineering, Data Analytics, Communications, or Law preferred.
• Leadership experience, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the execution of multiple client engagements
• Collaborates with BIG professionals to innovate and implement better strategies and processes
• Establishes effective working relationships with BIG professionals and other BDO employees
• Contributes to the development of technical acumen and BIG's market prominence
• Assists in business development research and identification of opportunities with clients
• Contributes to, supports, and enhances the culture of BIG, our offices, and BDO
• Other duties as required
