Job summary

BDO USA invites applications for a Tax Intern within the Business Incentives Group (BIG). This internship focuses on identifying and claiming government incentives, such as the Research & Development Tax Credit, to help clients thrive in a rapidly expanding practice.

You will collaborate with tax, accounting, finance, and engineering teams, gaining hands-on experience and developing your technical acumen while supporting client engagements and business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, required.
• Strong analytical and basic research skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the execution of multiple client engagements
• Collaborates with BIG professionals to innovate and improve strategies and processes
• Establishes effective working relationships with BIG professionals and other BDO employees
• Contributes to development of technical acumen and market prominence
• Assists in business development research and opportunities for new and existing clients
• Contributes to culture of BIG and BDO
• Other duties as required
