Job summary

alliantgroup, LP is seeking an Associate for the R&D division to help identify and substantiate cash generating tax incentives for American businesses. You will work with attorneys, accountants, engineers, and scientists to strengthen client value.

The role involves researching technical topics, producing reports, and collaborating with CPAs and executives to optimize credits while maintaining confidentiality and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• Preferred 1–2 years of experience with project management, public speaking, and client management.
• Preferred backgrounds in engineering, business administration, management, finance, economics, and life sciences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to relay information effectively.
• High urgency with deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Confidentiality with company and client information.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and qualify value-oriented benefits for companies.
• Substantiate technical analysis, conduct client interviews, and review client documentation.
• Research relevant technical and industry topics.
• Provide technical reports and analysis.
• Advise on credits and incentives that may apply.
• Consult with CPAs and executives on tax incentive credits.
• Collaborate with quality control, client relations, accounting, and tax teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Ensure analysis and timelines are met.
• Analyze client financials, projects and documentation.
• Create an unmatched client experience.
