R&D System Safety Engineer
We are seeking an experienced System Safety Engineer to join the Systems Engineering Department within the Undersea Systems Office at Penn State ARL. The role involves working within the Department of Defense safety processes and contributing to the development of next-generation undersea systems, from concept to testing. The candidate will develop in-depth knowledge of ARL systems and represent them within the safety community.
ARL is a DoD SkillBridge partner and welcomes transitioning military members to apply.
This position can be at multiple levels, requiring a Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of related experience; a Master’s Degree is preferred. Additional experience and education are required for higher levels.
Location: State College, PA
