The role partners with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, strengthen supplier qualification strategies, and protect quality standards in a highly regulated environment. Remote, US-based candidates only.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a R&D Supplier Quality Sr Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead risk-based supplier quality governance across research and development activities, with a focus on ensuring quality oversight for external partners supporting clinical services. The position will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to address quality issues, strengthen supplier qualification strategies, and support continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment. You will also help define the metrics, agreements, and escalation processes needed to monitor supplier performance and protect quality standards.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $132,037 – $178,639 annually

Responsibilities

• Provide risk-based quality governance for research and development suppliers with a focus on hybrid clinical services
• Support a cross-functional forum for addressing clinical quality issues involving GMP and GDP requirements
• Coordinate intake and triage of complex clinical supplier and quality issues
• Partner with stakeholders to establish supplier qualification and oversight strategies
• Support development and maintenance of quality agreements with suppliers
• Collaborate to drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality management
• Define and maintain supplier quality KPIs to monitor trends and signals

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience
• Experience in supplier quality management or oversight
• Experience working in a regulated environment with cross-functional stakeholders
