Job summary

ADM Decatur, IL or Erlanger, KY is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to lead R&D initiatives from concept to commercial solution, coordinating scientists, engineers, researchers and business teams. You will drive schedules, cost estimates, risk management, and governance, ensuring alignment with strategy and communicating progress to stakeholders within a matrix organization.

This role requires a technical degree, 5+ years of experience, and PMP/Lean/Six Sigma certifications are a plus; travel

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required, higher level degree preferred.
5+ years of work experience with technical projects.
PMI/PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or other project management certification is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

Drive delivery of strategic project objectives with monitoring and risk management.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet timelines and scope.
Establish and maintain project baselines, costs, and estimates.
Lead stakeholder alignment and project governance.
Ensure clear communication and effective decision making across teams.
Resource coordination in a matrix environment.
Identify and mitigate project risks and changes in scope.
Synthesize inputs from technical, commercial, and operations teams.
