Job summary

Faultless Brands, a leading home and fabric care innovator, is seeking a Research & Development Specialist for our Kansas City lab. You will support product testing, materials assessment, and experimental formulations while coordinating SDS records and chemical inventory with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field required.
• Experience in a laboratory or product development/R&D role is required (minimum 5 years).
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in R&D projects by testing new raw materials, components, and experimental formulations.
• Conduct product and material evaluations and provide technical feedback and insights.
• Maintain SDS documentation, manage chemical inventory, and ensure lab safety/compliance.
• Support lab housekeeping and equipment maintenance; assist with audits of warehouse conditions when needed.
