Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Life or Physical Sciences, or Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in the product development lab; industrial lubricants preferred.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to effectively conduct informational training.
• Familiarity with laboratory and analytical equipment and techniques.
• PC skills to gather, process data and present reports.
• Familiarity with development and maintenance of quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Augment current product line at the direction of the Manager of R&D.
• Assist in development, improvement and performance testing of the current product line.
• Design, execute experiments, analyze and interpret data to guide product decisions.
• Keep detailed records of lab activities.
• Operate new equipment to develop products, monitor quality, and develop techniques.
• Assist QC Supervisor with ISO management system support.
• Make pilot plant batches.
• Calibration verification of lab equipment.
• Regular attendance is an essential function.
• Other duties as assigned.
