Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking a software engineering student to design, develop, and maintain network visibility platform software in a collaborative team. You will contribute to feature development and help resolve issues on Network Packet Broker platforms, while prototyping features for current and upcoming hardware.

Strong background in full-stack development, Java, REST APIs, and AI/LLM is expected. The role emphasizes teamwork, debugging, and effective communication as you work on

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CS, CE, or Software Engineering.
• Relevant coursework in CS/CE program.
• Full-stack web app development with Java and client-side scripting such as JavaScript/ExtJS.
• Experience with REST APIs and system integration.
• Experience with AI and LLM.
• SQL and relational databases.
• Git and modern software development practices.
• Projects demonstrating initiative and curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, and maintain software for network visibility platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, and maintain software for class-leading network visibility platforms
• Collaborate with engineers from a multi-disciplinary development team
• Serving a role in feature development and issue resolution for Network Packet Broker platforms
• Working to design and prototype innovative new features on existing HW platforms and HW under development
• Developing high quality feature software independently and in teams
• Participating in design and code reviews

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
• Relevant coursework in a CS, or CE program
• Full-stack web application development. Experience with Java and client side scripting language.e.g JavaScript, ExtJS etc.
• REST APIs and system integration
• Experience with AI and LLM
• SQL and relational databases
• Git and modern software development practices
• Personal, academic, open-source, or internship projects that demonstrate initiative and technical curiosity
• Knowledge of Ethernet and networking technologies is a plus.
• Strong software debugging skills
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
