Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking a software development intern in Santa Rosa, CA. You will contribute to full-stack development on test and measurement products within an Agile team spread across geographies. You will participate in the full software lifecycle from requirements to testing and maintenance.

Prerequisites include pursuing BS or MS in CS/CE/EE and knowledge of C/C++, C#, XML, OO design, and debugging. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong fundamentals in software development, testing, and version control.
• Proficiency with object-oriented design and debugging across platforms.
• Experience with C/C++, C#, XML and related tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; quick learner in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities

This is an internship position where you will be part of an Agile team working on full-stack development with teams in other geographies world-wide. You will participate in the full software lifecycle of requirements capture, investigation, product definition, design, implementation, test development, testing, and maintenance.

• Design and develop software for electronic test and measurement products;
• Apply practices and play roles in Agile Scrum;
• Obtain hands‑on knowledge of Test & Measurement instrument control.

Qualifications

Pursuing BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience with software development, version control, and test
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design
• Experience with C/C++ , C#, XML
• Proficient in building, testing, and debugging software
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to work in a team environment to achieve objectives
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies

Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2026. Applicants who have graduated before September 2026 will not be considered unless they are entering/applying to a MS or PHD program after graduating.

California Pay Range:USD $33-$36/hour

Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
