Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join a distributed team building digital products across embedded firmware, IoT, cloud storage, and AI/ML-driven insights for Keysight Services.

You will help define standards for instrument systems, verification, and AI/ML-driven diagnostics, while collaborating with KGSO and IT to deliver scalable IoT and cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
• Experience with object-oriented languages: C++, C#, Java.
• Experience with JavaScript and UI frameworks like React.

Responsibilities

• Lead and define Keysight standards for next-generation instrument system or solution support technologies.
• Define and implement company-wide standards for solution verification & diagnostics using AI/ML.
• Collaborate with KGSO & IT to define a harmonized IoT communications & cloud storage infrastructure for solution support services.
• Drive distributed-team development of digital products spanning embedded firmware, IoT protocols, cloud storage, visualization, and AI/ML insights.

Responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer, you will work with a distributed team to build digital products that transform how customers experience Keysight Services. These products span the full technology stack-from embedded firmware and industry-standard I/O communications to IoT protocols, cloud storage, visualization, and AI/ML methods that turn machine data into actionable insights.

• Provide leadership and direction for defining & implementing Keysight standards around next generation instrument system and or solution support technologies

• Define and implement company wide standards for solution verification & diagnostics applying advances in AI/ML
• Work with KGSO & IT to define a harmonized IoT communications & cloud storage infrastructure that enables solution support services

Qualifications

• Expectations
  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering program
  • Experience with object-oriented languages. C++, C#, Java desired
  • Experience with JavaScript, UI design & UI frameworks (e.g. REACT)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
• Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience interfacing with electronic equipment using SCPI
  • Understanding of electronic circuitry and electrical engineering fundamentals

California pay range: MIN $89,600.00- MAX $149,330.00

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
