Job summary

Innovativ Pharma, Inc. in Florida seeks a senior Research Scientist to lead development of new functional ingredients for personal care and household markets. You will design and execute multi-project research, generate data to support claims, and collaborate with application chemists.

PhD in chemistry with strong writing and presentation skills; experience in colloidal/green/polymer science preferred; cross-functional teamwork required; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry or related field required.
• Strong track record in innovation and independent thinking.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of sensory and instrumental protocols for personal care/beauty markets is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate across Formulation, Production, Marketing, Sales, and Quality Control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and invent new technology and ingredients with functional and sensorial benefits for personal care and Household Industrial & Institution markets.
• Independently perform research across multiple projects based on business and customer needs.
• Propose and execute in vivo and in vitro test methods to develop structure-performance relationships and generate data for supporting claims.
• Collaborate with Product Application Chemists to create prototypes of concepts to demonstrate benefits of new ingredients.
