Job summary

Qnity in Marlborough, MA is seeking an R&D Scientist to join the Advanced Circuits & Packaging (ACP) team. You will contribute to developing next-generation electroplating products through polymer synthesis, formulation design, and materials characterization in a hands-on lab environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry or research experience.
• Hands-on wet chemistry experiments and laboratory work.
• Ability to propose and test technical hypotheses with standard instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Support research and development of additives and formulations for electroplating products.
• Collaborate with global teams on product development projects.
• Perform polymer synthesis and characterization at lab and pilot scales.
• Design and execute electroplating, electrochemistry, chromatography, and spectroscopy experiments.
• Analyze data and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Lead focused technical projects with minimal supervision.
• Maintain strict lab safety practices.
