Job summary

Malarkey Roofing Products Co. seeks an R&D Project Manager to drive the Amrize Innovation System, supporting new products, improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives.

You will document and maintain procedures and training materials, and plan, lead, and execute assigned projects with cross-functional teams to achieve Gate deliverables. You will manage a portfolio in coordination with Product Management, keep projects on schedule, and provide stakeholders with updates for Gate decisions.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through structured projects, Stage Gate, commercialization, cost-reduction, or continuous improvement processes.
• Ability to develop business cases, define scope, deliverables and metrics, and provide clear recommendations for leadership decisions.
• Safety protocols and PPE requirements must be adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams through Stage Gate process from Business Case to Commercialization.
• Prepares and edits Stage Gate documentation into standard operating procedures.
• Defines scope, deliverables, and metrics; organizes quarterly and Gate review materials.
• Coordinates with internal and external partners on objectives, timelines, and resources.
• Monitors progress, maintains scope/schedules, resolves issues, and updates senior management.
• Identifies risks and facilitates problem solving to maintain project continuity.
