Job summary

CURT G. Joa, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Junior Project Engineer to support the execution of engineering projects by assisting in design, documentation, and validation activities.

Working under senior engineers, you will help ensure deliverables meet specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards while bridging design and field execution. You will participate in design reviews, assist with troubleshooting and testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2–4 years in engineering or equipment design environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply complex software tools for problem-solving and documentation.
• Able to travel 20–25% and lift/move up to 25 pounds in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the transition of projects from pre-sale to post-sale technical teams.
• Assist in authoring risk assessments and identifying potential project risks and countermeasures.
• Prepare and maintain engineering work orders based on defined project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design progress aligns with project goals and standards.
• Provide on-site and floor-level technical support during project execution.
• Assist in developing product design validation requirements and participate in testing activities.
• Contribute to design reviews and ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
• Support preparation of technical presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
