Randstad USA is seeking an R&D Product Development Technician II in Harrisburg, PA. The role requires an Associate Degree or 1-3 years in product testing, soldering skills, and electro-mechanical fundamentals. The position is a contract role with standard 8am–5pm hours and opportunities to contribute to testing and documentation.

The candidate will build setups, operate testing equipment, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality and accuracy in test reports and data analysis.

Formación

• Associate Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or related field) OR 1-3 years of product testing experience.
• Strong understanding of electro-mechanical principles, soldering proficiency, and excellent manual dexterity.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office (MS Project experience is a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Execute electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing on products for engineering evaluations and quality assurance.
• Build test setups and equipment using hand tools, soldering techniques, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Operate electronic testing equipment, power supplies, and mechanical measuring tools for assembly and verification.
• Review and summarize test data to author comprehensive documentation and test reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams while maintaining a clean, safe laboratory workspace.
