Job summary

You will design experiments, analyze results, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive product improvements from concept to pilot to production.

Qualifications

• Applied Statistics and Design-of-Experiments Methodology required.
• Good oral and written English skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pilot trials and/or laboratory tests on multiple projects.
• Builds and tests laboratory prototypes of new product concepts.
• Produces documents, summarizes, interprets and reports laboratory data in support of an R&D project.
• Generates ideas for research or new products.
• Plans, conducts, schedules, and coordinates small projects.
• Gains knowledge of Albany products and markets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop, test, and optimize products, processes and materials.
