Job summary

IPG is seeking an experienced R&D Engineering Manager in Michigan to lead the development, transition, and production integration of new technologies and process platforms. You will provide engineering and people leadership to the R&D process team and oversee key projects across departments.

Candidates should bring 10+ years of engineering experience, 3+ years of supervisory work, and strong skills in DoE and data analytics. Prior extrusion, coating, and packaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• 10+ years engineering experience and 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong competency with digital tools for data analysis.
• Experience with extrusion, coating, and packaging processes preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and transition of new technologies into production.
• Coach and develop the R&D process team; set direction and execution rhythm.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to execute projects.
