Job summary

Qnity Electronics, Inc. in Marlborough, MA is seeking an experienced R&D Polymer Chemist for polymer/organic synthesis and new product development in semiconductor materials.

The role blends hands-on synthesis with structure–property understanding to deliver materials for thermal, electrical, interfacial and mechanical performance, including lithography and adhesives experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Polymer Science/Engineering, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science or related field; 3+ years industrial experience in polymer/organic synthesis.
• Proven ability to tailor material platforms for product performance, especially with lithography and adhesives.
• Strong track record of innovative material development and IP generation (patents/publications).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute polymer and organic synthesis for high-purity semiconductor materials.
• Author technical reports and patents; support IP strategy and freedom-to-operate.
• Assess literature, patents and competitive approaches to guide research direction.
• Apply statistical reasoning to experimental data and build analytics for polymers.
