Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a recent graduate for its R&D Pathways Rotational Program, a 1–2 year experience designed to build technical depth and business acumen at the World Headquarters in Vadnais Heights, MN.

The role leads to other R&D or related positions across research centers nationwide after the rotation. As an R&D Pathways Scientist I, you will receive mentorship, lead impactful projects, and contribute to innovation across multiple business units while gaining exposure to diverse

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science with expected graduation spring 2026.
• Organic chemistry I and II coursework are required.
• Ability to work safely in laboratory and manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to facilities across the U.S.
• Willingness to relocate after the 1–2 year rotational program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and analyze experiments on organic and inorganic substances to evaluate properties and applications.
• Design and execute experiments to improve or replicate materials and research methods.
• Apply standard scientific theories to support product and process development.
• Manage multiple projects independently and articulate results including business impact.
• Document test results and provide process improvement recommendations with PM methodologies.
