Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an early to mid-career paralegal to provide exceptional legal support to a government client in the Chantilly, VA area. The paralegal will assist the General Counsel with the implementation of ethics programs and perform legal research and writing in support of rapid prototyping initiatives within the Department of War.

Requirements include TS/SCI clearance; a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of federal paralegal experience or a Juris Doctorate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of federal paralegal experience OR JD from an accredited law school.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for interaction with senior executives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research and writing for DoD Field Activity matters.
• Support Ethics Program (Standard of Conduct) and FOIA/litigation efforts.
• Prepare documentation for congressional inquiries and policies related to RDT&E.
• Coordinate correspondence and training materials for the General Counsel.
• Provide FOIA, litigation, and protest support for the department.
