Job summary

Limagrain Field Seeds Asia Pacific is seeking an R&D operations manager in Thailand to lead and coordinate product testing programs, supervise trials, and ensure protocol compliance. You will liaise with R&D and marketing, organize biannual crop reviews and coordinate tours to showcase hybrids, while partnering with breeders and PD teams for outreach.

A strong background in testing program management is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and coordinating complex testing programs.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Knowledge of QA, SOPs and data handling in trials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate product testing programs in Thailand under research protocol.

Research & Development

Main Goal

• Lead and coordinate the product testing programs in Thailand, monitor and supervise all ongoing trials under research protocol.
• Undertake planning and set objectives for the team and provide direction to all product testing team.

Job description

• Organize trials as per standard protocol, record data, upload data, analyze and prepare reports; ensure time-bound observation recovery and sharing of trial data using Limagrain proprietary software.
• Provide clear, accurate and balanced feedback to R&D and marketing teams for ongoing projects and trial development.
• Organize crop review meetings biannually: plan, communicate, follow up and assume outcome responsibility.
• Organize crop tours with support from the PD team to showcase elite hybrids from pre-commercial and demonstration trials in Thailand: plan, communicate, follow up and assume outcome responsibility.
• Coordinate with breeders, PD team & marketing for scientific community outreach: planning, communication, follow up, participation.
• Regular evaluation and updating of SOPs for trial formulation and data capturing.

What we expect of you

• Experience: 8-10 years in testing and management; maize experience preferred.
