Job summary

Limagrain Field Seeds Asia Pacific is seeking a Research & Development specialist to join the breeding team in Nakhonsawan. The role involves carrying out planting to post-harvest activities and processing for cold room storage.

You will manage crosses, monitor line performance, and collect data for trait selection to support ongoing breeding programs. This is a permanent on-site position within a global seed company with international reach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage planting of breeding works from planting to post-harvest and storage in cold room.
• Manage pollinating development crosses with scheduled timing, quantity, purity and method.
• Observe line performance and select desirable plants, providing data for effective selection.
• Manage leaf sampling and dry process.
• Understand and record data for all desirable traits for breeding works.
• Improve subordinate skills and knowledge.
