Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced R&D/NPD Project Manager for a 12+ month contract in Irvine, CA (onsite).

You will manage large-scale NPD programs for medical devices, coordinating software, firmware and hardware aspects while ensuring quality and change control compliance. The role requires 5+ years of direct NPD experience in the medical device sector, strong leadership, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct experience managing New Product Development projects.
• Experience managing medical device projects with software, firmware and hardware components.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more large-scale projects/programs with strict quality and change controls.
• Develop program plans and coordinate resource sharing across projects.
• Lead program execution meetings and optimize workflows and decisions.
• Mentor peers and drive a culture of urgency and accountability.
• Communicate status and risks clearly to stakeholders.
