Ichor Systems, Inc. is looking for an Engineering Technician in Sparks, NV, to support R&D efforts by operating advanced metrology/testing equipment and collaborating with engineers. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant engineering experience or an A.A. degree. Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years engineering or related work experience.
• A.A. Degree or equivalent work experience, or combination thereof.
• Soldering and basic electrical test bench skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced gas metrology systems and manage test schedules.
• Write control sequences for automated testing.
• Collect data and perform preliminary analysis on data quality.
• Build, test, and calibrate prototypes.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting and modifications.

Skills

Ability to operate manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment

Capacity to function effectively in a cross-disciplinary environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Intermediate MS Office skills

Education

A.A. Degree or equivalent work experience

Minimum 4 years engineering or related work experience
