Hunter Engineering Company in Bridgeton, Missouri, seeks an R&D Engineer II - Mechanical to develop new mechanical components and subsystems. You’ll investigate, specify, design, analyze, and test to meet project goals in automotive service equipment.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, CAD proficiency (Creo preferred), and hands-on design experience with sheet metal, weldments, hydraulics, and mechanisms. Travel <10% and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proactive, creative self-starter with CAD experience.
• Familiarity with sheet metal, weldments, hydraulics, and system integration is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components for new products.
• Select parts, materials, and processes to meet project scope.
• Validate concepts through analysis and testing and design fixtures as needed.
• Collaborate across functions to meet deliverables and lead smaller projects.
