Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in mechanical/biomedical engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated technical leadership across R&D product development lifecycles.
• Strong diagnostic platform knowledge and instrument compatibility experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead as R&D lead on new product development and engineering initiatives.
• Guide major programs and possibly act as project lead.
• Develop approaches to complex technical solutions with sound engineering.
• Design and develop in vivo/in vitro models to evaluate product features.
• Apply risk-based DFSS/DFSS methodologies to development challenges.
• Plan and analyze DOE, design verification and validation activities.
• Prepare robust test methods, fixtures and measurement analyses.
• Ensure quality policies and training uphold BD standards.
• Communicate results to peers and leadership; support data-driven business cases.
